Janet! Old School is New School in Music Industry

I do not know but I am still stuck in the 80’s and 90’s when it comes to music and I am not alone.  Most number one radio shows play the old with the new because artist like Michael Jackson, Prince, Janet Jackson, The Gap Band, Earth Wind & Fire and the list goes on still have appeal.  In fact the mistake a lot of these artists made were they tried to sound like kids who are emulating them.  They tried to sound like something that does not really exist which is a rich new sound.

 

Thinkaboutit! Guys like Usher are trying to be Michael Jackson, while Michael was out trying to be an unintended Usher. I love my Janet, but I do not know what she was trying to do, but the good thing is that she is going to perform all her singles reasonably possible at her Rock Wit Chu Tour, which is an oxymoron because it should be called Janet 42 or something, even if she plans to perform 44 songs, because the show is about Janet and not Def Jam, who pulled back on promotions of the album, but was unsuccessfully at interfering with the original plans for this tour.

 

I do not know I guess traditionally they say they are promoting an album when they go out on tour but in reality that is where the money is at in the industry today it is in touring.  So in reality the album promotes the tour and not the other way around.

 

Personally if I was Janet, oh I am a part, anyway that is another story, I would release a Party CD with her best dance songs to let people know they are about to really have a good time and remind people about just who she is a R&B and Pop Icon.  Furthermore it would get her more airplay by making the old songs a part of a new release, and this is the type of music getting airplay anyway.

 

A Party with Janet CD would be on time, not everyone has all of her CD’s and every album has something special on it.  Like Prince I think Janet could really put together a great greatest hits CD and later for the Oxymoron tell it like it is because it is what it is and that is what the people really want, to reminisce on when music was really music.  Personally I made my greatest hits CD, but not everyone wants to invest in so many albums to hear her at her best.

I do not understand you, all the time you was in my backyard, my friend gave me the address and it was confirmed, but I will not go there uninvited.  I also know where Jermaine Dupri lives.  In my backyard, I have to wonder about my agents to allow this shit, not that you’ll live together you do not, but New York City is not large enough for me and Jermaine Dupri.

 

They say I have to make the first move, Janet I made all the moves it is about time for you to stand up to the plate. I do not know what you are going to do, I know you are not going to move, but Jermaine Dupri has to go back to Atlanta, he is not welcome in New York City and his invitation has expired.

 

I think we need to have a man to man talk, no violence or anything like that, but he has to back down, he can be with his bodyguard if he thinks I am a man who will not honor his word, but we need to talk and soon.

 

What has been going on was wrong and you know it, furthermore nothing good came out of this relationship, he single handedly destroyed your career in my opinion, I could be wrong you may had lend a helping hand, but he can never love you like I do, you are nothing but publicity for him.  I just want to say I know where you are and where he is, as far as you I will not show up uninvited and I ask for an invitation.  As for him maybe he might get a surprise visit if he cannot arrange a meet.

Visualize what it is you most want to accomplish and before you know it you will have attracted that very thing into your life. Give your imagination permission to roam far and wide over the coming 12 months. Life is an adventure or it is nothing.

You must be decisive. Don’t sit there hoping that someone you fancy will make the first move, get up and get out there and let them know how you feel. It will be surprisingly easy to charm people today. As for the weekend, it’s love and roses all the way.

On Sunday, August 10th @ 12 noon all NYC Janet Fans will meet at Central Park [west], Entrance across street from the Apple store (5th Ave).

To shoot footage for the “LUV” Fan-made Video! All Fans Invited if can make it!!!

If anyone else want’s to shoot footage, please bring a camera.

I guess I will test my Mini DVD and digital camera this weekend and get lost in the crowed.  I came across something last night before I went to bed and e-mail it to Janet it upset me.  I am not going to discuss it.  I think this event is going to be crazy she has some ballistic fans they are crazy about her and for this reason I am confident she will do well at her concert tour.  I understand it is International.

I guess the West Central Entrance is near 60^th or 61^st street, I do not know much about Central Park.  I know you have the 59^th Street Bridge on 1^st Avenue and Central Park is down a few the blocks.  I wonder if Janet will show up, I understand this event will be held by her fans but you never know.  Then they plan to go to the beach, I do not like the beach to much, the water anyway I drowned as a child, I was not traumatized by it I just know the danger of the ocean.  But I will participate at the LUV video shoot.

I have a relative who live near by where this event will be held, I have not seen her in some time, I wonder if she will be home.  I should stop by to say hi, before the event starts.  But you know how family can be if you surprise them and I lost her phone number.  I know how to get there but I do not know the address.  I do not know; I have to try to find her phone number maybe my cousin has it, maybe I might call him to get her number.  They built up this area since I was a child.

Sonar 7 is not that hard, I can do with it what I do with Acid Pro 5 already, plus I Rewired Reason 4.0.1 to it, all you have to do is push the buttons (Rewire & Reason).  I will make a beat tomorrow using Sonar 7 and Reason 4.0 together for practice; I really look forward to getting my package. 

 

Sonar 7 has a lot of stuff to master it but I plan to make it my primary music creation program along with Reason 4.0.1.  In time I will learn!  Sonar is so much like Acid and Reason combined, but I know Reason and it is a great program to create music with.  I have my dithering set at 16 bits but I need to set it at none because I record at 16 bits.

 

I think such a venue as a HG Capacity or (Huge) Capacity Nightclub might be the future for the mature artist.  Maybe they should build a few of them at major casino gaming establishments and not just for Alicia.  Maybe Michael should bid for one also and you might want to perform in one.  The idea is to not just get a gate but to get patrons to consume food and drinks during the show.  I think it is an idea to be realized and Alicia would be the springboard to a new type of venue.  You can double your contract to $200 Million also, but it really does not matter we will be on the same budget and like I said you’re the one that is going to be high maintenance and not me.  All I really want is you and my family, I will be happy in a $300 suit.

 

Power is more important to me than being a multi-billionaire consumer.  I am more concerned with the control of my environment, than I am about purchasing the world.  I do not want to own it, I want to own me.  I want me back! I was given as a ransom.  I am sure you can understand this!  As you put it Control and you was so young at the time, so imagine how important it is at my stage of the game after what I been through!
