Obama Says no to AIDS

In a letter to Senator Obama, he was asked, “I know you are my cyber friend under Jesus Paul Solomon, but I am not using that site yet I have it locked down as private for now.

I want to be your friend if you plan to cure AIDS and fix the economy by whatever means necessary…..

 

His response was: 

“There are 33 million people across the planet infected with HIV/AIDS. As president, Obama will continue to be a global leader in the fight against AIDS. Obama believes in working across party lines to combat this epidemic and recently joined Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) at a large California evangelical church to promote greater investment in the global AIDS battle.”

 

Then he was asked: “If Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys were to do a duet of this song, would you give them a billboard at Madison Square Garden as President of the United States?”….

 

His response after reading the provocative lyrics was:  “Hello again,

Thank you for your creativity and enthusiasm. We’re glad that you’ve taken the time to get in touch again and share your talent and your support.”

 

I cannot blame the man, to say yes to that question could have been political suicide; the song is that deep.
